Our products and services have a wide range of applications across the roads sector. From new build, greenfield, to road maintenance solutions across all parts of urban, regional and rural – state and council road networks. We pride ourselves on providing low carbon, recycling & reuse solutions that enhance pavement resilience exceeding customer requirements and pavement performance.

In Rail, our services and products cover a range of applications across new construction, track maintenance and track upgrades. Our ability to improve the sub ballast pavement performance is renowned as is, our ability to execute and accelerate works in rail occupations on both the public and private rail network.

The heavy-duty nature of port and airport pavements, as well as the potential for contaminated land provides a perfect platform for Hiway to provide clients economic and sustainability benefits from our products and installation techniques. The time sensitive nature of these critical infrastructure and logistical nodes are where our array of products and installation methodologies derive real value for clients in both minimising construction time and longevity of the asset.

Unlike most other pavements, renewable sites – especially wind and solar sites need a pavement construction designed for heavy access for construction and a lighter pavement for ongoing maintenance. At Hiway we have development bespoke solutions including low carbon offerings to service the specific needs of renewable pavement applications.

The elevation requirements for Windfarms can be especially challenging, our purpose built and bespoke fleet, supported by our methodologies developed over numerous windfarm contracts have seen us successfully work in gradients in excess of 20%.

Our ability to service mine sites is multi-faceted. We have the capability to provide design, construction and maintenance services to both the light vehicle and heavy vehicle networks. Our range of solutions cover all aspects including pavement improvement and dust suppression and mitigation as well as a series of low carbon solutions to support the mining community journey to carbon zero.

Contaminated land development and urban renewal presents significant challenges. Many sites have been excavated and removed to landfill when a process of chemical fixation and encapsulation could be adopted to avoid removal and create a material of pavement quality whilst preventing leaching. We offer solutions for PFAS, hydrocarbon, heavy metals and asbestos encapsulation which provide significant economic savings to clients.
